A view from the top

Today was our visit to Le Tour d' Eiffel.  After earning ourselves another  pain au chocolat by climbing the 43 stories of stairs was truly worth it.  The view of  the city from the top is mesmerising.  You can  really see where the new Paris has blended in with the grand old structures.
After being whipped in the chilly wind at the top we headed down to a simple little bistro for a hot bowl of Soupe al' Oignon Grantinee.  Hit the spot.
On our way home we spotted yet another of the 2011 Grand Prix baguette winners!  Les Gourmandises d’Eiffel
This baguette is ranked #7.  We tore a nice chunk off the end for a quick samle and tend to agree.
