Pic Nic at Luxembourg Garden

Bonjour,
Today we picked up a few items around the 6 arr. and had our lunch at the Luxembourg Garden.
Our first stop was at one of the most famous boulangeries in Paris, Poilane.  He is know for his round 2 kilo sourdough country breads, which he started in 1932 using stone ground flour, natural fermentation and wood fired ovens.  It was really delicious with a nice ripe French brie.
We got ourselves a little treat at (one of my favorite) La Maison du Chocolat boutique. www.lamaisonduchocolat.com  This chcolate just melts in your mouth.  We'll be stopping by here again!
After a nice afternoon at the park we made our way back to our local street market for tonights dinner.
The chef choose a couple of caille (quail), belgian leeks, pears, black currents and normandy pototoes.
He served it up with a nice foie gras demi glace.
